The Black Mountain Ghostriders will be having a Poker Run October 11th at 11:00 am at the A.T.V Park beside Koal Town Motel.
There will be a $10.00 entry fee
There will be a grand prize, plus many door prizes!
Come on out and enjoy the ride on the A.T.V. trail.
All proceeds go to the Black Mountain Ghostriders A.T.V. club.
Our club meetings will be held on the second Saturday of every month at 10:00 AM at the Koal Town Plaza in Cumberland KY. New members are welcome to attend! if interested in becoming a member it cost 25 dollars a year. plus when you sign up you will recieve a free black mountain ghostriders t-shirt and a sticker. This is a Southeastern Kentucky A.T.V. club, located in the foothills of the Mighty Black Mountain in Cumberland (Harlan County) Kentucky. All riders are welcome to come out and enjoy the thrill of riding through the rugged mountaionus terrain of Harlan County's newest A.T.V. trail, created to rival any trail you've ever ridden anywhere!! There are so many trails to choose from. We have trails for beginners and for the most expericenced riders. It is so beautiful when you are on the rides, it is like the mountains just surround you and make you feel right at home. There is so many different types of terrain to choose from, just choose one and ride it and enjoy it. There are plenty roomy accomodations at the Plaza Motel. Located right beside the trail park. Some are equipped with refigerators and micowaves. There are also RV parking and RV hookups and campgrounds coming soon if you prefer the rough terrain of our mountains here in Cumberland KY. At Koal Town.....
We also have a few different places of interest here in Cumberland. Starting out with the Kingdom Come State Park. It is a fun place to take your family to if you are interested in going hiking and getting a good look over the town of Cumberland at the Creech Overlook and seeing the Mountains and to enjoy their hiking trails and the other stuff they have there. It is very nice there. You can play minature golf. Or go out on the paddle boats which is a blast. We also have the Sleepy Hollow Golf Course located at 330 Golf Course Road. They can be reached at 1-606-589-2502. And we have a few other places of interest in Benham and Lynch KY. There is the Coal Miners Museum located in Benham. And in Lynch we have the portal 31. And we also have our highest point in KY. Which is located on top of Black Mountain. If you come to ride the trails and have time you could check out some of the things listed above.
